CHILD CARE RESOURCE & REFERRAL
Our Child Care Resource & Referral is one of 45 CCRR programs which date back as early as the 1970s, but have followed a consistent delivery model since 1990. CCRR assists parents in finding and evaluating quality child care that meets their needs. We offer child care providers access to training, support and information for new and established programs. We also maintain a lending library of resources that are available for child care providers and parent members to borrow. Membership is available to individuals in the service area, as well as to other agencies. Workshops and training opportunities are offered to child care providers, as well as to interested community members. The Teddy Bear Picnic is hosted each May by Child Care Resource & Referral, in partnership with the child care providers in our community.

- Information and assistance with starting a family child care in your home
- Loan of resources like playpens, strollers, infant equipment, games, toys for all ages, children's books and videos and resource books
- Workshops and training opportunities such as Managing Behaviour, Discipline, Music for Young Children, Arts and Crafts, Fetal Alcohol Syndrome, Sign Language, and more
- Weekly drop-in playgroup
- Teddy Bear Picnic
