FASD (Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder)
and CDBC (Complex Developmental Behavioural Conditions)

Key Worker and Parent Support Services

This program provides assistance for families of children and youth with FASD and similar neurological conditions in accessing assessment and diagnosis. Support, information, and resources for individuals with FASD, families, and other service providers are also offered. The two components of this service are:

Key Worker: The Key Worker assists families in accessing support, health, education, and other services. Emotional and practical support to families is also provided. Key workers are involved with the development and growth of community resources for individuals and families affected by FASD/CDBC.

Parent Support Worker: The Parent Support Worker offers strategies and skills for parents/caregivers of children with FASD/CDBC. This may be one on one or in a group setting.
